I found a ssea shell and gave it to my 4 year old
daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to
her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside aand itt
pinched her ear. She never wwants to go back!

I have exactly the same ‘weather’ plan as you two have, except mine is the reverse of yours.
I plan to be in the northern parts of Australia
in the southern hemisphere winter and then retreat south when summer
comes, probably down around Walpole or Denmark in my home state of Western Australia or
all the way to Tasmania if I’ve been wandering around
over in the eastern states.The summers in the
north are brutal and not just on us human animals. Sealed roads store enormous
amounts of heat and they cause tyres to explode and
fly to pieces, engines overheat, air-cons pack up and tempers get frayed.
The only positive is you have a wonderful excuse to sit in an air-conditioned pub all day, drinking beer!
However, winters are pretty mild along the coastal
regions of the north, though once you head off into the inland, it’s not uncommon for the temp.
to drop down past 0 degrees Celsius overnight.I’ve
always reckoned that if it gets too cold, I can always throw another blanket
on the bed or put on more clothes, but northern summers are merciless, so
I intend to give them the big swerve and head off towards Antarctica or as close as I can get to it!
